Explore the evolving Earth system through the lens of sustainable environmental management.

On your four-year integrated Environmental Geoscience masters you will combine geology, geography, oceanography and environmental science, giving you the freedom to specialise in subjects ranging from environmental law to marine pollution.

You will study at the National Oceanography Centre Southampton (NOCS), one of the world’s largest centres devoted to research, teaching, and technology development in ocean and Earth science, and graduate primed to pursue an extensive range of careers.*

While at Southampton, your topics of study will include:

  • Terrestrial and marine pollution and environmental impact

  • Environmental law and science policy

  • Earth resource management

  • Natural hazards.

    You will have the freedom to specialise in terrestrial or marine sciences, exploring the elements of the programme that interest you most.
