About this course

Explore the processes that drive our global Earth system on land, in the ocean, in the crust, and in the atmosphere.

On your three-year Environmental Geoscience degree you will combine geology, geography and oceanography to gain extensive knowledge of Earth, marine and environmental sciences. You will also be able to choose a Geoscience or Marine pathway.

You will study at the National Oceanography Centre Southampton (NOCS), one of the world’s largest centres devoted to research, teaching and technology development in ocean and Earth science, and graduate primed to pursue further study and a career in Environmental Geoscience and many other sectors.*
