About this course
Practical projects will enhance formal systems thinking and an optional placement year in industry will boost your practical engineering knowledge and employability. Integral to the programme are elements of computer science, embedded systems, digital electronics, data analysis, artificial intelligence and machine learning, sensor systems and robotics, as well as other topics studied across all programmes, such as employability skills. Optional modules can be taken from all Brunel’s engineering departments giving you the chance to gain additional expertise in civil, mechanical, aerospace and chemical engineering.
We expect this new course to shortly be accredited by the Institution for Engineering and Technology, in common with all the other degrees offered by Brunel’s Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering. This accreditation, combined with our strong, long-standing industry partnerships and the possibility of a placement year in a relevant work environment, will further boost your professional credentials and employability.
The MEng Engineering with Business is a four-year undergraduate degree course (or five years including a placement year) that gives you a master's qualification , but we also offer a three year bachelor's BEng Engineering with Business (or four years including a placement year).
