Engineering (Electrical and Electronic Engineering)

The Higher National Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering course is designed to equip students with the key knowledge, understanding and practical skills required to work and progress in the electrical and electronic engineering sector.

The course develops students as professional, self-reflecting individuals who are able to meet the demands of employers in the rapidly evolving engineering sector and adapt to a constantly changing world. The qualification also aims to widen access to higher education and enhance students’ career prospects.

This course embeds the development of key skills throughout the programme. Students will develop attributes and strengths required by twenty-first century employers.

On completion of this course, students may wish to progress to further study at Level 5 on the Higher National Diploma in Engineering.
