The Electrical Power Engineering MSc will provide you with expertise and practical experience in the application of engineering as part of the latest technological developments and increasing use of power electronics.
The theme of power electronics runs through the course options in its application to modern technologies such as renewable energy systems and the development of embedded generation and micro grids.
You will have the opportunity to work with leading industry as part of the course, on field trips and as an industry placement option.

The theme of the award is power electronics in the electrical supply industry. You will study four modules each semester. The MSc will be awarded on successful completion of a project.
