About this course
The range of modules which form this MA Education route will enable you to focus and specialise, with choices built into the assessment requirements. The curriculum reflects the latest developments and contextual issues in education and is delivered by a team of dedicated and experienced teaching staff with specialist areas of expertise, who are all also involved in researching and publishing within the area. Study will include topics such as pedagogy, ethics in education, education policy, transformational education, the changing field in contemporary education, as well as approaches to educational research. Further information about this is available below. In the final stage of the Master’s you’ll complete a dissertation focusing on your choice of research topic within the field of education.
Study Style You’ll be taught in lectures (including guest lecturers), seminars and workshops at our Francis Close Hall campus in Cheltenham. Contributing your own ideas and participation in discussions during sessions are significant elements within the course. You’ll be assessed 100% by coursework.
