About this Course:

This course is an innovative response to specific sector needs which enhances the professional development of early years practitioners and the quality of early years provision for children and their families. This degree provides opportunities for students to consolidate, strengthen and enhance their knowledge and skills, and provides progression pathways to further and higher study.

Progression:

  • Higher Education BA (hons) degrees in Childhood Studies, Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Education and Care

  • Upon successful completion of these courses you could go into employment in roles such as Nurse Manager, Pre-School Leader or Family Support Worker

    Entry Requirements:

    * 48 UCAS points

    * Level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification with license to practice status

    * GCSE Maths and English grade C/4 or equivalent

    * Hold a current DBS

    * Be employed in a sector in a relevant setting and role

    * A minimum of six months experience post-qualifying at Level 3

    * ICT access and skills to support online learning elements of the programme

    * IELTS English Score of 6.0 minimum required for international applicants
