Digital Production for Film and Games

The Foundation Degree (FdSc) in Digital Production for Film and Games offers a dynamic and hands-on learning experience designed for aspiring creatives looking to build a career in the film or game development industries. This program equips students with a solid foundation in core digital production techniques, which they will develop and refine within their chosen specialism—either Film Production or Game Development.
Throughout the course, students will explore key areas such as:

● Digital tools and technologies: Gaining proficiency in industry-standard software and equipment for film editing, visual effects, 3D modelling, animation, and game engines.

● Collaborative projects: Working with peers to create professional-quality films or games, mirroring real-world industry practices.
● Post-production: Fine-tuning digital assets with advanced editing, compositing, and rendering workflows.

After completing the FDSc, students will be able to progress onto the top up in either Video Game Development or Film production, based on their area of specialism
