As society becomes increasingly reliant on data and AI, tech companies, government bodies, thinktanks and NGOs alike are searching for individuals with the necessary training to analyse, interpret and present this data. This course will provide you with the practical research skills and knowledge, to critically understand and ethically assess how data is used across a multitude of industries

You can undertake projects that explicitly develop research undertaken on social and computer science undergraduate programmes. Accordingly, you might have a background in sociology and social policy, politics, computer science or human-computer interaction. Equally, you may already be working in industry or government in a data-focused role.
