About this course
Cyber crime is a relatively new and growing area for both civil and criminal investigation. Our MSc in Cybercrime Investigation has been developed by law enforcement practitioners to enhance knowledge and practical skills in the areas of behavioural psychology, criminal investigation and the technical aspects of obtaining computer-based evidence.Aimed at personal professional development for current investigators in the criminal and private sector and as a natural progression for graduates in Computer Forensics, Psychology or Policing. Modules include Research Skills, Behavioural Dynamics of Cybercrime, Digital Forensic Technology, Open Source Internet Investigation, Policing of cybercrime, and a research project for your dissertation. You’ll develop the knowledge and practical skills to understand psychological, investigative and technical aspects of cyber crime. This course is available in full-time, part-time and distance learning modes of study. The course is delivered in partnership with existing staff members from a variety of Schools.
