About this course
The BA (Hons) Costume Production programme looks at the technical elements of costume realisation; taught through practical projects and hands-on experience in Centrals public production programmes, you will develop highly advanced technical skills to prepare you for the costume industry; this ranges from pattern cutting, garment construction and costume supervision and management for live & screen performances.
The programme covers both historical and contemporary costume and accessories but also focuses on the use of more sustainable materials and costume production methods. Throughout, you will be encouraged to explore your own ideas and pathways within the field of costume production.
