Construction & The Built Environment Civil Engineering

Who is the course for The course is for civil engineering inspired learners wanting to continue their education through applied learning and wish to pursue or advance their career in construction. In addition to the knowledge, understanding and skills that underpin the study of civil engineering, the course will give students an experience of the breadth and depth of the sector that will prepare them for further study or training. The course is for students with a clear line of sight of progression to HND Level 5 and to a degree Level 6, as well as to gain the skill for work readiness in the construction sector.

Our typical offer is UCAS Tariff points 64 (new), or equivalent. BTEC Diploma at MM, Extended Diploma at MPP in construction-related qualifications. Other related Level 3 qualifications like Plumbing, Gas, or Electrical Installation will be considered. GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above (or equivalent point score) are required. An Access to Higher Education Certificate awarded by an approved further education institution and an application with a related work experience portfolio will be considered on individual bases. Also, an international equivalent of all the above will be assessed for possible enrolment.
