About this course
The Higher National qualifications in construction and the built environment are aimed at those wanting to continue their education through applied learning. Through completing a Higher National qualification you will study a wide-ranging spectrum of the construction and the built environment sector. Then after you have completed the course you can pursue or advance your career in construction and the built environment. In addition to the knowledge, understanding and skills that underpin the construction and the built environment sector, the Higher Nationals give you the experience of the sector and prepare you for further study or training.
The level 5 Higher National Diploma consists of the level 4 Higher National Certificate (from a defined specialist pathway) plus an additional 120 credits at level 5 delivered via one of the specialist pathways.
