Conservation Management

The University of Cumbria is offering this new and novel Master’s degree focussed on the developing leadership and managerial skills for application within the environmental sector. To lead research / applied projects or attain management positions within this sector, there is a need to be appropriately qualified and experienced.

Course Overview This program aims to address skill gaps often witnessed in those applying for such positions by giving the opportunity to gain these essential skills and understandings that are required to navigate the complexities involved with leading or managing projects. The Lake District provides an ideal backdrop as it is an area that grapples with these conditions and tensions regularly, whether maintaining partnerships, implementing government policy or securing a sustainable future and more.
