Our Conflict Resolution in Divided Societies MA offers a multidisciplinary, comparative study of national, ethnic and religious conflicts in deeply divided societies. It compares case studies from the Middle East and around the world, examining the theoretical literature on the causes and consequences of conflict, conflict regulation, and internationally led and grassroots peace processes.Additional academic development, mentoring and time to develop your intellectual interests. A wide range of optional modules taught by world leading scholars in conflict resolution, conflict studies Engagement with leading practitioners, including from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the British Council, the media, civil society organisations. Exposure to latest debates through regular public lectures organised by the department and its research clusters. Strong intellectual and methodological foundations for further research. Research skills for archival research as well as qualitative and quantitative research methodologies for the social sciences.
