Computing and Systems Development (Top-up)

The BSc (Hons) Computing & Systems Development (Top-Up) degree is designed for students who have completed a foundation degree, HND or equivalent qualification and are ready to advance their expertise in application development, database management, and the integration of web and network systems. With a strong focus on emerging technologies, this program equips students with the skills and knowledge needed to address modern industry challenges and innovate in the tech sector.

How will I be assessed? Students will engage in practical, hands-on learning through real-world projects, industry collaborations, and problem-solving activities. The program also emphasizes professional development, preparing graduates for dynamic roles in a variety of computing environments.

What can I do after completing this course? Graduates of the BSc (Hons) Computing & Systems Development (Top-Up) are well-equipped for careers as application developers, database administrators, systems integrators, IT consultants, or web and network managers. With a strong foundation in emerging technologies and systems thinking, graduates can also pursue postgraduate study or entrepreneurial ventures in the tech industry.
