About this course

The BA (Hons) Top Up in Community, Public Health & Social Care is designed to develop the skills necessary to work in industry. Through the specialist units this course will develop learners' skills and understanding of health and social care settings, community and related theoretical concepts, outlining the importance of social policy, community engagement, contemporary issues and working within organisations. The need for effective research skills applicable to the sector are included which will provide learners with a wide range of skills they need to find, or progress in employment, or progress to further study.

This course is designed to challenge and encourage students to ask questions of themselves and their role and deepen their understanding of the sector.
