They are responsible for designing, building, maintaining and improving bridges, roads, canals, docks, office buildings, hospitals, schools, airports, power stations, railways, flood defences, and water-treatment facilities everywhere. This HNC is designed for those who are already working in the civil engineering industry in a range of roles, including trainee site engineers or quantity surveyors.
