During this 1 year programme, knowledge and understanding of key topics and developments, such as social and educational policies, processes and outcomes in a variety of contexts relevant to children, schools and families., will be enhanced through educational visits and guest speakers. Teaching is delivered by a team with varied experience and substantial specialist knowledge in working with children schools and families. As a result, a wide range teaching, learning and assessment methods are employed, including lectures, seminars, debates, display work, essays, case studies, presentations, reports, research activities, portfolios and group work. You will have access to learning resources at the Hugh Baird University Centre and the University of Central Lancashire, including e-learning resources and the opportunity to use Athens.
