You will study fundamental concepts in inorganic, organic and physical chemistry and applications in areas such as analytical, environmental, materials and theoretical chemistry. You will develop your ability to design experiments, interpret results, and gain key mathematical skills through our chemistry-specific units.

Careers-specific support is embedded into modules, including advice on preparing CVs, creating professional social media profiles, and researching companies and sectors. You can get advice and support in applying for internships and practice interview and assessment centre skills to build up your confidence.

Your chemistry degree will prepare you for a huge range of careers that include working in data science, financial services and consultancy as well as traditional routes into the chemical industry.
