Our Centre for Byzantine, Ottoman and Modern Greek Studies is an active community producing world-leading research. Benefit from our expertise, which covers the East Mediterranean, the Balkans and the Middle East across a wide range of disciplines, historical periods and cultural traditions.

You’ll be encouraged to join conferences on subjects related to your research interests and to participate in our lively interdisciplinary seminar series. Our researchers also organise the annual Postgraduate Research Colloquium of the Centre for Byzantine, Ottoman and Modern Greek Studies.
