About this course

Studying our BSc Business Psychology will provide you with insights into the human mind and the behaviour of people at work, alongside introductory business modules. You will combine knowledge of how people work and manage their careers with marketing, finance and additional topics of your choice.

Our organisational psychology modules explore subjects such as:

  • work-life balance

  • the work-home interface

  • employee motivation and engagement

  • career development

  • leadership.

    On this business psychology degree, we equip you with transferable skills including critical thinking and writing, plus elementary to advanced research skills. This allows you to learn how to collect and scrutinise organisational data and ask the right questions.

    The final-year research dissertation gives you the opportunity to gain insight into conducting cutting-edge research. Under the guidance of a supervisor, you will lead a project from start to finish by conducting a survey, interviews or an experimental design. Our academic staff are experts, actively researching many topics such as diversity, occupational health and organisational change.

    The course is accredited by the Association for Business Psychology. Our students gain valuable skills which prepare them for their first graduate role, including human resources-related positions or a step-change into management.

    This course has an evening timetable with lectures, seminars and classes taking place in the evening.
