Whether a firm is considering taking on more staff, adopting a new technology or cutting prices in response to a change government policy, an understanding of economics is central to getting the big calls right. Macroeconomic trends also influence the wider business environment, affecting the cost of borrowing, how well-off consumers feel or the competitiveness of UK goods and services abroad. As a BSc Business Economics student, you will combine a rigorous training in economics with management, corporate law, marketing and finance, equipping you with the skills necessary to successfully navigate the business world.
