About this course

The business environment is changing all the time. While you can’t predict the future, you can certainly be prepared for it. Organisations need flexible employees with a range of skills, who understand the different areas of business and how they work together. The BA (Hons) Business Management will give you a well-rounded business education to make you a versatile and employable graduate.

By studying Business Management you will get a full overview of how businesses perform, meaning you can adapt and succeed in a competitive jobs market. There are compulsory modules that cover essential topics such as marketing, how to manage people, purchasing and logistics. As you progress, you can choose specialist modules in areas that match your interests and career aims. There are also many opportunities to gain practical experience of the business world, including work placements, hands-on challenges, a year-long sandwich placement or an internship.

The BA (Hons) Business Management is also available as a four year course including an integrated Foundation Year, and is designed for students who do not currently meet admissions criteria for direct entry onto the degree.

You will start by completing a foundation year, which provides well structured support, allowing you to develop your skills and knowledge before continuing onto the three year degree programme.

Please note: The integrated foundation year will be studied in Treforest.
