Your four-year integrated Biomedical Sciences masters degree at the University of Southampton will allow you to delve into how this practice provides advances in vital areas and join a pioneering community who will share their expertise, allowing you to focus on aspects of physiology and/or biochemistry to research level - Southampton’s biomedical sciences researchers are making a significant impact on today’s society by investigating potential cures for Alzheimer’s, discovering the causes of cystic fibrosis and improving our understanding and treatment of cancer.

You will have the flexibility to tailor your degree through our extensive range of modules, complete an extensive laboratory-based research project in the heart of our multi-million pound, state-of-the-art Life Sciences building, and will have the opportunity to embark on a Year in Employment to gain experience in an industrial setting.

You will join a programme with successful graduates who are in demand* and you will graduate primed to pursue employment in a variety of areas including medicine and healthcare-related professions, clinical or medical research, and in industry.
