About this course

The BA (Hons) course provides an extension opportunity for those who are working in an education setting and already delivering learning. The aim of the programme is to enhance your professional understanding through academic study. Students will undertake a research project and learn about the changes and development of education.

ALIGNED WITH INDUSTRY Tutors have a wide range of professional experience in youth mental health services, nursery management, teaching and training. The University Centre partners with social services and schools.

INDUSTRY RELEVANT You will develop transferable skills for many different settings, working with children and young people in family centres to children’s care, training and teaching sectors.

EXPERIENCE OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM Established links with teaching programmes, such as Kingsbridge and Skills Direct, benefit those interested in teaching. Most students who join us without a job secure employment following their placement. Students have recently taken trips at home and abroad to examine children’s services in Prague and Budapest.
