Course overview: This innovative programme with an excellent bespoke design, one of only a handful in the North of England, offers students the opportunity to combine modules from across the aviation, travel and tourism sectors, with the chance to top-up to a relevant degree with a further year of full-time study. You benefit from our collaboration with Teesside International Airport who host field trips and guest lectures for our students to provide a rich and immersive learning experience. We are a member of the Institute for Travel and Tourism (ITT), giving you access to a dedicated ITT Future You Talent Hub, helping to inspire the next generation of travel and tourism experts. As an ITT member you can engage with national and international events and develop your professional network with organisations including British Airways, Advantage, ABTA, Business Travel Association and many more.

After the course: You study a range of subject specific and business modules that provide you with excellent balance and flexibility that can lead to a range of careers from across the sector - public sector tourism management, airport management, retail travel management, business, hospitality and leisure. Recent alumni and current students have secured employment both locally and nationally with leading sector organisations such as Jet2, easyJet, British Airways, IAG, Securitas, Teesside International Airport, Manchester Airport, Newcastle International Airport, Gatwick Airport, London Heathrow, and leading tour operators in a range of roles from Air traffic control, Aviation regulatory bodies, airline and airport management through to executive travel marketing.

You may also further your studies and progress to the BA (Hons) International Tourism Management (Top-up) or BA (Hons) Airline and Airport Management (Top-up).
