Assistant Practitioner Health and Social Care (HTQ)

This Higher Technical Qualification is a level 5 work-based learning course validated by Sheffield Hallam University.

The course combines care sector experience from existing employment within the sector or industry-based work experience with academic studies.

It may be used as a pathway into a variety of health and social care careers or to further your studies which may include direct entry onto the second year of degree programmes within Sheffield Hallam such as Nursing, Radiography, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Social Work.

It is an ideal course for students who have just completed a level 3 qualification, or for those currently working within the industry and wish to further their careers.
