About this course
By studying this degree, students will have access to dedicated Linux, Mac OS X laboratories and central servers as well as robotic equipment including Ardvinos, mobile robots and sailing robots. Students will have access to mobile and aerial robots, vision and motion tracking systems, microcontroller systems and laser scanners. You will be taught by lecturers who have close links with the industry and software engineering conferences.
On this course, you will participate in a fascinating and commercially important field of research. Throughout this degree, you will be introduced to programming, computer infrastructure, web development, AI, machine learning, space robotics and an individual project. This project gives you an opportunity to develop your own piece of software in an area which interests you. Throughout your time in Aberystwyth, you will have the chance to meet regularly with a personal tutor, who can help with any difficulties you might have with the degree or with university life.
