About this course
The MA programme is designed to help you engage with critical and innovative research, enhancing your methodological skills and research expertise. The programme provides a suitable basis for those wishing to pursue further research at PhD level.
The MA programme can be accessed as a one year (full-time) or two years (part-time) course of study. The MA comprises one compulsory module, three optional modules and a dissertation. Available postgraduate optional modules cover significant areas within the discipline of Applied Theology, including biblical studies, church leadership and discipleship, chaplaincy studies, and Pentecostal theology and spirituality.
About the PG Certificate The Regents Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Theology provides an introduction to postgraduate study that allows you to focus immediately on modules directly relevant to your vocational and professional development. For those seeking an initial postgraduate University accredited qualification, the two year part-time study programme offers an achievable route for professional development. Whether you wish to enhance your skills and knowledge in relation to chaplaincy, Christian leadership or another of the available subject areas, the modules seek to foster depth of biblical insight and (self-) critical theological reflection on a wide variety of relevant topics, challenging your preconceptions and constructively resourcing your independent and original contributions to the issues explored.
