Positive Psychology is a movement that has challenged the field of psychology to reconsider the positive aspects of life. Instead of drawing on a 'disease model', it encourages empirical research into factors that enable individuals and communities to thrive and focuses on building the best in life. Areas of study include wellbeing and its determinants, positive emotions, strengths, resilience, creativity, or optimism.

Facing post-pandemic and current economic and geo-politic challenges, positive psychology has become even more relevant through its focus on wellbeing, resilience and meaning.
