As part of this course, you'll:
Develop your knowledge and skills to solve a range of complex cyber security, computer system and network challenges Learn to evaluate both theoretical and practical issues associated with the implementation and testing of cyber security and digital forensics systems Begin to justify your solutions to problems, considering professional, ethical and legal requirements Express a strong understanding of current issues and new technologies within the field of cyber security and digital forensics Build your skills to reflect industry requirements by engaging with local and national industry partners Think outside the box as you apply knowledge and techniques to create and interpret data about cyber security and digital forensics Independently draw on your existing knowledge and synthesise new theory and techniques to produce an original dissertation/project
Develop your expertise
You'll gain advanced skills in challenging areas within digital forensics, such as image and video forensic investigations. In security areas, you'll obtain knowledge and expertise in software security exploitation development and the analysis and implementation of security mechanisms to defend and analyse systems.
