Begin your career in nursing with an MSc in Adult Nursing at Canterbury Christ Church University. This Master's degree in nursing is for graduates from any field of academic study, tailored towards teaching you the core practical and theoretical skills and knowledge needed for a career in Adult Nursing.
On successful completion of the Master’s degree in Adult Nursing at CCCU, you will be eligible to register with the NMC and practise as a registered nurse.
This practical and dynamic degree will enable you to become a critically aware, creative, competent nursing practitioner who practises person-centred care. On placements, which represent an important part of the course, you will work directly with adults experiencing changes to their physical and mental health and wellbeing in a variety of settings. These including their homes and within the community - including primary, secondary, and tertiary care settings.
Undertaking simulated practice in our state-of-the-art facilities will also enable you to develop your clinical and communication skills in a controlled setting, preparing you for the real world as well as enabling reflection and improvement.
You will also study nursing theory, including ethics and social justice, through to leadership and development. We have worked in partnership with service users and colleagues from practice to ensure our MSc Adult Nursing course puts service users at the centre of all we do and provides you with the best learning opportunity.
