Accounting and Taxation with Placement Year

This degree is a flexible course that can be tailored to your own interests and career plans. You could choose pathways towards an accountancy professional recognition and gain expertise in green finance, accounting, assurance/audit, pension and tax technologies. Unlike many other BSc Accounting courses, this degree focuses on the public sector and how businesses and policymakers interact.

On our four year programme, you'll also get to spend your third year on a paid industry placement. Where you'll gain real life experience and boost your CV. Our award-winning placements team will support you in finding placement opportunities, interview practice and throughout your placement year.

With this Accounting and Taxation with Placement Year degree you'll: • Understand and apply theories and practices within audit, taxation and public sector accounting. • Learn the skills required to play key strategic roles in businesses and other organisations. • Build, analyse and communicate data in areas of accounting, audit, tax and sustainability.
