Accounting and Financial Management

Our MSc programme provides a comprehensive understanding of accounting and financial management principles, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application. The programme focuses on key areas such as financial accounting and reporting, performance analysis; strategic management accounting and control; financial auditing and sustainability assurance; and corporate governance and social responsibility.

Develop your ability to understand and critically evaluate the relationship between economic events and financial statements, learn to identify red flag fraud indicators and propose effective control recommendations and take a deep dive into industries you aspire to work in. Our modern curriculum is designed to set you up for success in a variety of roles within the sector.

You will have the opportunity to work with practitioners in industry as well as access to Bloomberg terminals to support the analysis of financial performance, building on your professional skills in the workplace. You will become equipped for a career in accounting and finance through a well-rounded degree which encourages you to challenge contemporary issues and apply your learning to the real-world.
